The craft
One piece, two ways to live with it
This is the piece people buy when the television and the turntable share a wall. I build it with the same case either way, then set the interior up for the life you actually have: record bays for a growing vinyl collection, or open component space with a wide top for the TV.
The Mid Century proportions do the quiet work. A low case keeps the screen at seated eye level, tapered solid wood legs lift it off the floor so the room feels larger, and every edge is eased by hand so it is friendly to walk past in a hallway or a small living room.
