The craft
Art deco lines in black oak
The deco geometry is built, not printed. Each line on the fronts is laid out, cut and fit so the pattern stays symmetrical across both doors, and the black finish is rubbed in rather than sprayed so the oak grain still shows underneath the shapes.
It is a dramatic front on a practical case. Bays hold records upright at full album height, the top carries a turntable or a television, and there is component space with room for cables behind. Solid oak legs joined into the frame keep it steady when the vinyl shelves are full.
